Jan also produced and manages the She Who Remembers audio archives collection for the last 6 years, since the death of his friend Genie - a.k.a. She Who Remembers. These audio archives focus on rare and obscure topics that were not discussed in the mainstream media. Jan is featured in the documentaries The American Drug War, aired on Showtime in March 2008. He is also featured in the recently released Canadian film High Jacking Humanity. During the early 90’s Jan was the Inland Empire coordinator for the California Hemp Initiative. In 1996 he worked on California’s Proposition 215 for Medical Marijuana. The late 90’s found him in Serbia and Montenegro where he spent 16 months studying the history of, and politics behind, the Yugoslav wars. He brings with him over 15 years of research into the study of ethno-pharmacology and drugs. Through the years he has given dozens of public speeches and radio interviews regarding his studies. He is currently working on several book and video projects to be released over the next few years. Jan appears in episodes 44: East Star and the Deep Self, 45: Letcher Vs. Irwin: Round 1, and 64: Attention and Devotion. |
Jan (Yon) Irvin is an author, lecturer and researcher in
archaeoastronomy, astrotheology, ethnopharmacology, shamanism, symbolism,
ancient and modern mythology, fertility cults and ancient and modern religion.
